How it works
-
Download the toolkit file below, which is the one file that carries the whole build.
-
Paste it into your AI, and ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini all work exactly the same way here. Open a fresh chat, paste the whole file in, and send it.
-
Answer the questions it asks you, then follow the launch steps to put your finished page online. Rough answers are completely fine, so do not overthink them.
Start with the toolkit file
This is the file your AI reads so it knows exactly how to build your page for you.
Download the Website Builder toolkit
It is one text file, safe to open, and it works with any AI.
Two moves and you are live
Your AI builds it
This is the main lane, and the toolkit runs the whole thing for you. Your AI asks you five quick questions about your business and the one action you want visitors to take.
Then it writes your words, builds your page, and hands you the finished file without you touching anything technical.
The ten-minute launch
This is the finishing move rather than a second thing to learn. You drag that one file onto Vercel, click deploy once, and copy the live link that comes back.
The launch steps below walk you through it slowly, so you always know what you are looking at.
Launch steps: put your page on the internet
This whole process takes about ten minutes, and there is nothing here you can break.
Your AI builds the page.
These are the only steps that must be done by you, because they involve your own personal account.
✅ Step 1: Create your free Vercel account
Go to vercel.com in any browser.
Click the button that says Sign Up.
You can continue with your email address or with Google, and either one works fine.
Pick whichever is easier and use your normal business email.
You will land on a clean sign up screen asking how you would like to continue, which is exactly where you should be.
If the next screen asks you to choose a team name or a plan, pick the free option called Hobby.
That is the right choice for now, and you can always change it later if you ever need to.
✅ Step 2: Start a new project without any code
From your dashboard, look for a button that says Add New and click it.
Then choose Project from the list that appears.
On the page that opens next, ignore anything about connecting to a code repository, since your AI already gave you a finished file and you do not need that.
Look instead for a panel inviting you to drag files in directly.
It is usually shown as a box with the words deploy or upload written across it.
Vercel changes small details on its screens from time to time.
If what you see looks a little different from this description, look for the words deploy and drag and drop, or the word upload, and you will be in the right place.
✅ Step 3: Drag your file in
Find the index.html file your AI gave you.
If your AI packaged it inside a folder, drag in the whole folder instead.
Drag that file or folder straight into the upload area you found in Step 2.
Give the project a simple name using your business name in lowercase with no spaces, for example johnsbakery rather than John's Bakery.
The name field sits right above the Deploy button.
Once the name looks right, click Deploy.
✅ Step 4: Copy your live link
Vercel takes about a minute to build your page.
When it finishes, you will see a screen congratulating you, with your new web address written out clearly for you to click.
Open that address and check the page looks the way you expect it to.
Open it once more on your phone too, since that is how most of your visitors will actually see it.
Then save the link somewhere you will remember, such as a note on your phone or a message to yourself.
If your AI offered to do the launch for you
Some AI setups can walk through these steps together with you, and that is completely fine.
The rule that matters here is simple.
Never type your password anywhere except on Vercel's own website.
And you are always the one who clicks the final approve or deploy button yourself.
Troubleshooting corner
If the page shows an error after you deploy, simply re-drag the file and deploy again. It costs nothing and there is no limit on how many times you can try.
If the upload area will not accept your file, check that you are dragging the actual index.html file itself, not a screenshot or a photo of it.
If you cannot find the drag and drop option anywhere on the screen, log out of Vercel and log back in, or use the search bar at the top of the dashboard and type deploy.
If something else goes wrong that is not covered here, bring your link and a screenshot of what you are seeing to the community and ask, and someone will help you sort it out.
You got this.
Good to know
Three things worth knowing before you start
Your password always stays yours
Your AI never needs a password at any point, because you type your own login on Vercel's own website where only you can see it.
It is free to start
Vercel's free plan is meant for personal projects, so if this page is for your business you can expect to move to their starter paid plan at some point down the line. No charge ever starts on its own, because a payment only begins after you choose to add a card yourself.
You can redo it any time
If a deploy looks wrong, you simply drag the file in and deploy again. It costs nothing, there is no limit on how many times you try, and nothing breaks when you do.
